She was predeceased by: her parents, O. E. Comer and Lillian Brooks Comer; her husband Ralph Proffitt; her siblings-in-law, Jewell, Harry Turner, Harlin, Pauline Comer, O. E., Gerry Comer, Martha and Chester Colson; and her nephews, Larry Comer and James Richardson Comer.
She is survived by: her daughter Neika Coughlin (Barry); and her granddaughters, Kaitlin Bradbury (Chase), Emily Coughlin (Nate Skwarek), Dana Volenec (Trent) and Krista Seiler (Joe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Flippin Church of Christ (300 Flippin Lamb Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167).
