Jean Proffitt Obituary
We are sad to announce that on February 22, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Jean Proffitt of Fountain Run, Kentucky. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, O. E. Comer and Lillian Brooks Comer; her husband Ralph Proffitt; her siblings-in-law, Jewell, Harry Turner, Harlin, Pauline Comer, O. E., Gerry Comer, Martha and Chester Colson; and her nephews, Larry Comer and James Richardson Comer.
She is survived by: her daughter Neika Coughlin (Barry); and her granddaughters, Kaitlin Bradbury (Chase), Emily Coughlin (Nate Skwarek), Dana Volenec (Trent) and Krista Seiler (Joe). She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Flippin Church of Christ (300 Flippin Lamb Rd, Tompkinsville, KY 42167). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Thursday, February 27th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Neal Cemetery.
Honorary Pallbearer: Johnny Montgomery, In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Neal Cemetery or the American Heart Association.
