It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Clovis Joe Cornwell of Fountain Run, Kentucky, who passed away on November 26, 2024, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clovis Jack Cornwell and Margaret Brandon Cornwell; his siblings, Emma Welch, Brenda Oliver and Delbert Cornwell; and his brothers-in-law, Bob of Maine, Larry Pitcock, Billy Welch, Dave Solomon, Clifford "Tip" Oliver and Leory Johnson.
He is survived by: his daughter Nancy Jo Houchens; his wife Nancy Cornwell (Landrum) of Fountain Run, KY; his son-in-law Tony Houchens of Glasgow, KY; his granddaughter Kaemyn Houchens (Jackson Mutter) of Glasgow, KY; his sisters, Marie Solomon of Princeton, IN, Glenith Morrison (Bobby Wayne) of Fountain Run, KY, Betty Crabtree (Jerry) of Hendersonville, TN and Becky Pitcock of Fountain Run, KY; and his sister-in-law Brenda Johnson of Glasgow, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joe's memory may be made to Fountain Run First Baptist Church or Fountain Run Cemetery.
