With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Billy Clay Hughes (Fountain Run, Kentucky), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 12, 2025 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Hughes and Annie Lee Hughes (Johnson). He is survived by: his wife Jo Ann Hughes (Rowland); his children, Christopher Clay Hughes of Flippin and Laura Jenkins (Adam) of Flippin; his grandchildren, Lauren Hoskins (Jayson), Gregory Wheeler (Natalie) and Mitchell Clay Jenkins; his great grandchildren, Ava, Connor, Blaine, Clayton Hoskins, Raylee and Ivy Wheeler; and his grandchildren, Hunter and Bentley.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Fountain Run Funeral Home (175 Main St, Fountain Run, KY 42133). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in memory of Billy Clay may be made to Shanti Niketan Hospice Home, Flippin Volunteer Fire Department or Neal Cemetery.
