It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Keith McCarty Sr. of Foster, Kentucky, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Clyde and Lucille Dray McCarty; and his brother William Russell McCarty. He is survived by: his wife Carol Golden McCarty; his children, John Keith McCarty, Jr. of Louisville, KY, Monica Jenkins (late Stacey) of Falmouth, KY and Amanda Porter (Carl) of Berry, KY; his grandchildren, Caine Stophlet, Travis Jones and RaeAnn Porter; his brothers, Cecil C. McCarty, Jr. and Charles Edward McCarty; and his pet Nellie.

Memorials are suggested to Woodhead Funeral Home to offset funeral expenses.
