He is survived by: his wife Genieve Teegarden Thornton; his children, Jennifer Lee Bradford, Jack Lee Thornton, Jr. and Andrea Kranlinger; his grandsons, David Wilson Bradford and Jacob Tyler Thornton; and his siblings, Calvin Thornton (Karen), Lisa Earls (James), Marcella Hall (Jay), Ethel Mae Quinlin, Johnny Thornton (Pam) and Roy "Ozzy" Thornton.
