He was predeceased by: his wife Betty Muldoon; his son Terry Ray Muldoon; his parents, William Muldoon and Frances Muldoon; and his siblings, Lucille Johnston and William Muldoon.

He is survived by: his son Patrick Muldoon (Laura); his grandchildren, Linley Depenbrock (John), Patrick F. Muldoon (Merideth), Leah Shinkle (Kenny), Lauren Patton (Scott), Lizbeth O'Neil (Chad) and Lisa; and his great grandchildren, Danika Ray Depenbrock, David P. Depenbrock, Grant A. O'Neil, Emily P. O'Neil, Chloe J. Patton, Lucas S. Patton, Gavin D. Patton, Harper R. Muldoon and Patrick J. Muldoon.
