It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Jean Giltner of Fort Wright, Kentucky, born in Fort Thomas, Kentucky, who passed away on December 22, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Binder and Helen Binder; her husband Ray Giltner; her daughter Becky Giltner Melching; and her sister Joyce Binder.
She is survived by: her daughter Mary Beth "Bip" Leidolf (Erv); her son-in-law Jeff Melching (Jenny); her grandchildren, Andy Leidolf (Jessica), Josh Leidolf (Alysse), Lance Melching (Lindsay), Jamie Leidolf (Jessi), Kyle Melching (Catherine) and Rachel Baker (Jordan); and her great grandchildren, Liam, Henry, Addy, Lottie, Ellie, Jackson, Leni, Sam, Nolan and Camden.
She was an active member at Immanuel United Methodist Church, a longtime member of the EKU Foundation Board of Directors and Northern Kentucky/Greater Cincinnati EKU Alumni Chapter.
