He was predeceased by: his parents, John Joseph and Corinne Gegner Gerrety; and his brothers, Robert, Patrick and Thomas Gerrety.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Robert Gerrety, Theresa Sebastian, Jeanne Gebhart, Daniel Gerrety and Martin Gerrety; and his sister-in-law Ruth Gerrety. He is also survived by 9 great nieces and nephews and 5 great great nieces and nephews.
