James Donald Markesbery Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 25, 2023, at the age of 93, James Donald Markesbery of Fort Wright, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Nelson Markesbery and Allie Howard Markesbery; his sisters, Beverly Scott and Barbara Kelly; and his niece Jamie Jetter.
He is survived by: his wife Elaine Schwartz Berger Markesbery; his children, Jim Markesbery (Kay), Richard Markesbery (Pam), Douglas Markesbery (Diane), Sharon Burcham (Jim), Kevin Markesbery (Linda), Barry Markesbery (Sonya) and David Markesbery (Leslie); his stepchildren, Kathy Williams (Jim) and Brian Berger; and his siblings, Bud Markesbery (Gladys) and Maryalice Markesbery. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 41 great grand children and 5 great great grand children.
