He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Mary Lou Schroeder; and his children, Susan Heringhaus (Joseph) of Edgewood, John Schroeder of Florence, Steve Schroeder (Jamie) of Edgewood and David Schroeder of Ludlow. He was also cherished by 10 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Covington Catholic High School, 1600 Dixie Highway, Park Hills, KY 41011.
