He was predeceased by:, Robert Bruce Wier and Annie Lucille Trainer Wier. He is survived by: his siblings, Patricia Muncey, Tommy, Frank and Gene Wier; and also Beth Hill. He is also survived by grandchildren and (five) great grandchildren.
He and Emily eventually moved to Northern Kentucky during the pandemic, and shared their last years together as they shared every other year across seven decades, hand-in-hand, come what may.
