In loving memory of Douglas Heilman of Fort Thomas, Kentucky, who departed this world on March 1, 2025 at the age of 74. Douglas leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Heilman and Joal Heilman; and his grandparents, Harry, Ruth Reichel, Oscar and Leola Heilman.
He is survived by: his wife Jan Heilman (Ader) of Year's Eve; his children, Rick (Shannon), Jeff (Natalie), Rob (Billie), Jay Heilman (Lori) and Julie Berling (Josh); his grandchildren, Ellie Heilman Horsley (Trevor), Annie Heilman, Emily, Jack Heilman, Samantha, Katherine Heilman, Owen, Audra, Beau, Zane Heilman, Felicity, Abigail and Mckenzie Berling; and his siblings, Cris Scherer (Mike), Chuck Heilman (Judy) and Jodi Baxter (Kevin). He is also survived by 14 nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Andrews Episcopal Church (3 Chalfonte Pl, Fort Thomas, KY 41075). A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be sent to Chicks and Chucks or Saint Elizabeth Hospice.
