She was predeceased by: her parents, George John Amend and Katrina Anna Barbara Ashorn; her daughter Charlene Gail White; her son-in-law Anthony John White; and her siblings, Bernard, Ellsworth, George Amend and Catherine May Taske.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Gosney Holmes (Charlie); her children, Connie Gaye Larson (Jan Arthur), Charles Gosney Holmes, Jr. (Yvonne Rich), Clayton George Holmes (Nancy Appel) and Christopher Gary Holmes, Sr. (Elizabeth Zerhusen); her siblings, Ruth Reinermann, Marilyn Esselman (Lou) and Richard Amend; and her grandchildren, Catrina White, Coleman Holmes, Caroline Hautala (Gavin), Corinne Turner (Trevor), Carter Holmes, Christopher Gary, Jr. (CJ), Chase, Karston and Kyle Holmes.
Visitation will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Mary's Catholic Church (8246 E Main St, Alexandria, KY 41001). A funeral service will be held on Monday, November 25th 2024 at 12:15 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the St. Mary Cultivating Legacy fund.
