She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Nelson and Wilma Ellen Grote; and her brother Steven Grote. She is survived by: her husband Glenn "Skip" Vencill; her children, Jamie Ireland (Joseph) and Matthew Jones (Meredith); her siblings, Jan Adam (David) and Mark Grote (Kyriacos Kyriacou); and her grandchildren, Wynne, Cora, Luca and Lexi.
