He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Lenzer and Henrietta Lenzer; and his siblings, Glenn Lenzer, Ray Lenzer and Dorothy Todd.

He is survived by: his spouse Rosella Hanekamp; his children, Kathryn Whittle (Jay) and Tricia Gottschall (John); his grandchildren, Lindsey Whittle (Clint Basinger), Shaylah Whittle, Zaylee Whittle and Brittany Gottschall; and his wife Rose.
