We are sad to announce that on August 16, 2024, Ron Deering Jr. (Fort Mitchell, Kentucky), born in Covington, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Naul Deering and Jane Hood Deering; and his brother John Edwin Deering. He is survived by: his wife Lucia Lungu; his sons, Ronald Deering, Jr. (Suzy) of Bluffton and Matt Deering (Kate) of Champaign; his grandchildren, Maddison, Mitchell, Grace, Paige and Davis; his stepchildren, Luisa Templeton (Tony) and Paul Lungu; his stepgranddaughters, Olivia, Catherine, Lucia and Charlotte; his siblings-in-law, Ana Deering, James Connley and Margie Connley; and his nephews, Dana Deering, Mark Deering and Clark Connley.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions may be sent to the Alzheimers Foundation of America or the Illinois Extension Master Naturalist Program.
