He was predeceased by: his sister Mary. He is survived by: his wife Mary "Peggy" Hoffer; and his children, Thomas Hoffer (Cheri), Mary Burwinkel (Alan), William Hoffer (Sandy), Robert Hoffer (Diane) and Michele Pierani (Randy). He is also survived by his 22 grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.
