He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Marshall and Vilma Marshall. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Ann Marshall; his children, Bill Marshall (Teresa), Greg Marshall, Lisa Botkin (Gary) and Christi Clare (Darryl); his grandchildren, Brittany Edwards (Tevis), Alex Marshall (Courtney), Tyler Marshall (Bri), Caitlin Marcum (Anthony), Matthew Marshall (Sarah) and Ashley Clare; and his caregiver Heather Hamilton. He is also survived by his 11 great-grandchildren.
