He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Schmidt and Rosemary Decker Schmidt; and his siblings, Bernard Schmidt, Daniel Schmidt and Lynne Noll (Schmidt).
He is survived by: his wife Mary L. Adkison Schmidt; his daughter Jodi Schmidt of Fort Mitchell; and his siblings, Steve Schmidt of Independence and Rosalie Schmidt McDavid of Union. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid-19 restrictions, face masks must be worn, and attendance is limited to 50% of the church's capacity while still maintaining six feet of social distance.
