He was predeceased by: his parents, Bernard Louis and Mary Rice (McCafferty); his wife Mary Aurelia; his son Christopher of Fort Mitchell, KY; his sister Mary Claire Rice of Lakeside Park, KY; and his siblings-in-law, Ferd A. Rabe, George F. Rabe of Lexington, KY, Walter J. Rabe of Annandale, VA, Richard Schulte of Marco Island, FL, Julie Rice, Jean Rabe and Barbara Rabe.
He is survived by: his children, Glenn E., Daniel J. (Katrina), David P. Rice (Shannon), Aurelia Mary Theissen (John) and Jennifer Ann Rice; his grandchildren, Tim (Kelly), Bridget, Glenn, George (Hannah), David, Becky, Emily, Katie, Maria, Matthew, Peter, Christian, Sarah, Patrick, Mary, Joe, Jimmy, Aurelia, Caroline and Ben; his siblings, William Rice, Jay Rice (Lynn) of Northern Kentucky, Sue Schulte of Marco Island, FL and Mary Lynn Toner (Mike) of Northern Kentucky; and his siblings-in-law, David Rabe of Independence, KY, Frank Rabe of Crestview Hills, KY, Carol Ann Readnour of Ft Mitchell, KY and Janet Rabe of Annandale, VA. He is also survived by 100 nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
