With profound sadness, we say goodbye to George J. Budig of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Marion (Otto M. Budig, Sr.) and George. He is survived by: his wife Mary Jo Budig; his children, Greg Budig, Bill Rusk (Aimee), Cathy Steinfeld (Brad), Cindy Budig, Melissa Collins (Tim), Christina Budig and Rebecca Benson (Michael); his grandchildren, Max Steinfeld (Allyson), Gabriel Rusk (Kiley Kastl), Will Steinfeld, Rachel Rusk, Connor Collins, Regan Collins, Aidan Collins, Liam Collins, Archie Chesler and Charlotte Benson; his great grandchild Sadie Steinfeld; and his brother Otto M. Budig, Jr. (Sally). He is also survived by extended family and dear friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. John's United Church of Christ (415 Park Ave, Newport, KY 41071). A funeral service was held on Monday, December 23rd 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Wednesday, January 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM.
