He was predeceased by: his wife Mary Berling. He is survived by: his children, Charles (Peggy), Peggy Walsh (Craig), Mary Lou, Julie Peters (late Greg), Steve (Kim), Suzie Brooks (Bill) and Lisa Schneider (Mark); and his friend Norma Eilers. He is also survived by 23 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.
