She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Shea and Mary Shea; and her brother Thomas "Skip" Shea. She is survived by: her sister Maureen Avery; her children, Anthony "Tony" Barczak (Christie), Christina "Chrissy" Barczak, Daniel "Dan" Barczak (Julie), Thomas "Tom" Barczak (Angie) and Michael "Mike" Barczak (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Anna, Joel, Erika, Myles, Tommy Jr., Norah, Patrick and Ava.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Barbara also had the utmost respect for those who serve in the military and would also ask to consider making donations to The HunterSeven Foundation (hunterseven.org) or SGT Daniel D.
