Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Barbara Shea Barczak of Fort Mitchell, Kentucky, who passed away at the age of 74, on February 9, 2025. She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Shea and Mary Shea; and her brother Thomas "Skip" Shea. She is survived by: her sister Maureen Avery; her children, Anthony "Tony" Barczak (Christie), Christina "Chrissy" Barczak, Daniel "Dan" Barczak (Julie), Thomas "Tom" Barczak (Angie) and Michael "Mike" Barczak (Ashley); and her grandchildren, Anna, Joel, Erika, Myles, Tommy Jr., Norah, Patrick and Ava.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Linnemann Funeral Home (30 Commonwealth Ave, Erlanger, KY 41018). A burial was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the St. Mary Cemetery (2201 Dixie Hwy, Fort Mitchell, KY 41017). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 at the St. Pius X KY (348 Dudley Pike, Edgewood, KY).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St Jude's Children's Research Hospital. Barbara also had the utmost respect for those who serve in the military and would also ask to consider making donations to The HunterSeven Foundation (hunterseven.org) or SGT Daniel D. Gurr Foundation (danielgurrfoundation.org).
