It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Forest Tackett of Forest Hills, Kentucky, born in Virgie, Kentucky, who passed away on August 15, 2020, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Allard Tackett and Cordelia Hampton Tackett; and his siblings, Juble Tackett, Irene Goble and Dr. Lola Doane Tackett.
He is survived by: his wife Ilene Pecco Tackett; his daughter Dr. Angela Kay Tackett of Morehead; his nephew John Benton Tackett (Linda) of Pikeville, Kentucky; and his nieces, Marchetta Blackburn of Pikeville, Jenny Upton (Charles) of Lexington and Mary Anne Olsen (Craig) of Lexington. He is also survived by relatives, and many friends.
