She was predeceased by: her parents, Omer Sanders and Eva Sanders; and her siblings, Carol Wethington, Danny Sanders, Sharon Martin and Joey Sanders.
She is survived by: her husband Gilbert Scott; her daughters, Darlene Piper (Dana) and Arlene Brooks (John); her grandchildren, Chelsea Holstein, Cory Piper, Zachary Franks and Taylor Franks; her great grandchildren, Madelyn Holstein and Isabelle Piper; and her sibling Donnie Sanders (Mona). She is also survived by her family deeply, especially her grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Stith Funeral Home (7500 U. S. Hwy 42, Florence, KY 41042).
