He was predeceased by: his parents, Waldo Windhorst and Arlene Windhorst; and his brother David Windhorst. He is survived by: his brother Daniel; his sisters-in-law, Denise Windhorst and Gayle Windhorst; and his nieces and nephews, Kelly Valatka (Dane), Christopher Windhorst (Christina), Sarah Daniels, Matthew Windhorst (Anne-Marie), Benjamin Windhorst (Jessica), Robert Windhorst (Abby), Johnny Windhorst (Erin) and Tammy Brotherton (Paul).
