He was predeceased by: his parents, William Brankamp and Mary Brankamp; his wife Wilma Brankamp; his siblings, William Brankamp and Marian Efker; and his nephew Nelson Perry.

He is survived by: his niece Donna Mando (Bill); and his friend David Stidham.
