She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Morton and Garnet Morton; her husband Wilgus Herald Sr.; her siblings, Jimmy Schaefer and Sharon Schaefer; and her great grandchild Malachi Herald.
She is survived by: her children, Wilgus Herald Jr. (Mitzi), Randy Herald (Amy), Malinda Walker and Lisa Hedger; and her sisters, Carol Herald and Esther Eversole. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
