It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Eugene Vernon Hyde Jr. (Florence, Kentucky), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Louise Hyde, and Eugene Vernon Hyde, Sr.; and his wife Peggy Ann Hyde. He is survived by: his siblings, Martha Hatfield (Roger), Linda Owen and Nathanael Hyde (Diane); his niece Ashley Fuhr (Russell); and his nephews, Roger Patrick, Benjamin Patrick Travis (Leta) and Chris Patrick (Amanda). He is also survived by several cousins, other relatives, and dear friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the Hyde Memorial Scholarship Fund.
