He is survived by: his father William Barnes; and his children, Darrell Barnes (Cynthia), Gerald Barnes (Elizabeth), Kenneth Barnes (Ruth) and Marie Barnes. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
