He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Stone and Mayme George Stone; his grandson Andrew Shane Ward; his daughter Diana Christine Stone; and his brothers, Everett Stone and Robert Lee "R. L." Stone.
He is survived by: his children, Linda Combs, Kathy Bell, Donna Lindsey (Tim), William R. Stone (Pam) and Amanda Reid (Tommy); and his grandchildren, Tamara Gray, Tina Line, Tanessa Randall, Michele Emmons, Matthew McClanahan, Timothy Lindsey, Roman Nickerson and Seth Fogleman. He is also survived by his 27 great grandchildren.
