It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Velma Bellamy of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on August 31, 2022, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Claypoole and Elma Robb Claypoole; her daughter Elma Jean Ratliff; her great grandchild Marissa Jewel Woods; and her siblings, Glenn Robb Claypoole, Raymond Davis Claypoole, Carolyn Eitel, Betty Ann Donatelli, Gerald Wayne Claypoole and Donna Sue Manning.
She is survived by: her children, Candy K. Arvizo (Serafin), Debbie Turner (Robbie), Terry Bellamy and Paul Bellamy; her grandchildren, Christina Hernandez (Willy), Amanda McClanahan, Travis Bellamy, Trent Bellamy, Ryan Ratliff, Katie Turner (Brandon Williams) and Seth Turner; her great grandchildren, Ashton Woods, Angel Hernandez, Gary Auston Brierley (Allyson), Dalton McClanahan, Candy McClanahan, Christian McClanahan, Dani Bellamy and Ezra Bellamy; her great great grandchildren, River Williams and Regan Brierley; her siblings, Everett Claypoole (Patsy), Mary Elizabeth Claypoole and Carol Lee Galbraith (Jim); and her close friends, Tom Holland and Betty Stewart.
In addition to her parents Stanley and Elma, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Elma Jean Ratliff; her great grandchild, Marissa Jewel Woods; six of her siblings, Glenn Robb Claypoole, Raymond Davis Claypoole, Carolyn Eitel, Betty Ann Donatelli, Gerald Wayne Claypoole, Donna Sue Manning.
