She was predeceased by: her mother Addie Gardner; her husband Jessee Willard Saunders; her father Melvin; her sisters, Mary Gertrude Hedges, Hazel Jackson, Wanda Joyce Faris, Nellie Ruth Conley and Helen Conley; and her former spouse Estil Rice of Fleming County.
She is survived by: her grandson Brad Saunders (Judy); her great grandchild Lily Saunders of La Grange; and her stepdaughter Sharon Rice. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members and special friends.
