He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorothy and Thomas; his grandson Nicholas Hughes; and his siblings, Clyde, Wayne, Kenneth David, Eula Plank, Inez Waltz, Norma Archer and Ruth Branham.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Ann Sellers Clark; his children, Tina Hughes (Gerald) and Mark Clark (Jodi); his grandchildren, Christopher Hughes, Katie Hughes, Tyler Clark, Abigail Clark and Emily Clark; and his great grandchildren, Zachery Hughes, J. T. Hughes, Kinsley Hughes, Colton Hughes, Braxton Hughes, George Purdon, Alexxa Purdon and Shane.
