He is survived by: his wife Imogene Tapley Sorrell; his children, Jeff Sorrell (Nicole) and Deborah Sorrell-Purvis (Phillip); his grandsons, Matthew Purvis (Tori) and Ethan Purvis; and his brother Roy Sorrell (Debbie).
