She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Ramey and Vivian Ellison Ramey. She is survived by: her husband Gerald F. Carpenter; her children, Leslie and Gerald Shay; her granddaughter Katelyn Anne Kauffman; her siblings, Loretta Jane Ramey and Tim; and her nieces, Jenna Fields, Hannah Ramey and Holly Ramey. She is also survived by her extended family members and friends.
