Leona Watson Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 30, 2024, Leona Watson (Flemingsburg, Kentucky) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband David Andy "D. A." Watson; her parents, McKinley Newsom and Macil Clark Newsom; her daughter Cheryl Lynn Watson; and her brother Bud Newsom.
She is survived by: her son Dave Watson, Jr.; her grandson Andy Watson (Dorothy); her great grandchildren, Ean Watson, Maddox Earlywine, Talon Earlywine and Gemma Earlywine; her sister Emmaleen Rucker; her sisters-in-law, Shelby Fannin and Joyce Newsom; her aunt Rebecca Herbert; and her caregiver Patricia Stewart.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home (150 W Water St, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 3rd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
