She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny D. Ruggles and Rose Ross Ruggles; her siblings, Frankie Ruggles, Ethel Ann Ruggles, Pauline Willis, Wilma Ruggles, Mary Emmons and Betty Davis; and her niece Alicia Herrington.
She is survived by: her sisters, Florence Hickerson (Steve) and Linda Herrington (Larry); her nephew Jonathan Herrington (Kelly); her niece Rose Ann Deaton (Randall); her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lincoln, Silas, Wallace Herrington, Bryan Ballard, Krystina, Kayla Ballard and Nevaeh Deaton; and her cousin Mary Ann Hopper. She is also survived by two great, great nephews; one great, great niece.
