He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Emma; his son Michael Peters; his grandchildren, Amanda Lessley and Kyle Crandall-Peters; and his siblings, Patricia Dworken and James A. Peters.
He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Hyatt Peters; his daughter Sheri Lynn Phillips; his grandchild Shannan; his great grandchildren, Alyssa, Kaleb, Braxton, Owen and Nathan; and his great great grandchild Greysin.
