With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gene Wright of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, who passed away on January 6, 2024 at the age of 73. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Calvin Wright and Gloria Bragg Wright; his wife Patricia Ann Wright; his son Jason Clay Wright; and his brother Randy Wright.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Jessica Atkins, Allison Williams (Monty) and Kevin McCarty (Tasha); his grandchildren, Esmariah Lawrence (Gavin), Caleb Wright (Danielle), Dillon Wright, Cheyanne Cassidy (Austin), Destiny Earlywine (Lucas), Tyler Bays, Jesse Bays (Laney), Matt Bragg (Rachel), Kody Crouch (Celeste), Jacob Williams, Leanna McCarty, Aiden McCarty, Brecken McCarty and Bella McCarty; his great grandchildren, Gunnar Lawrence, Canyon Lawrence, Jason Wright, Chloe Wright, Easton Cassidy, Emma Cassidy Carter Bragg and Braxton Crouch; and his sister Janis Jordan of Ohio. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
