We bid farewell to Gayle Colgan of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, born in Maysville, Kentucky, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on October 28, 2024 at the age of 72. Gayle touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine and Ford; and his nephew Daryl Cooper. He is survived by: his wife Marilynn Claypoole Colgan; his son Chad Colgan; his sister Patricia Cooper (Charles); his nieces and nephews, Melinda Cooper, Angie Flynn (Chris), Donna Weaver (Bobby), Mike Cooper (Beth) and Chuck Cooper; and his brothers-in-law, Millard Claypoole and Terry Earls. He is also survived by many extended family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home (150 W Water St, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 2nd 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
