It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dorothy Jones of Flemingsburg, Kentucky, born in Hillsboro, Kentucky, who passed away on August 10, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Eldon Douglas Perkins and Olive Denton Perkins; her son Ricky Ray Jones; her siblings, Wayne Perkins and Norma Jean Perkins Smith; and her brother-in-law J. E. Smith.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Ray Jones; her children, Patricia Mullins (Mark) of Pikeville and Jeremy Jones (Valerie) of Morehead; her daughter-in-law Mae Jones of Flemingsburg; her grandchildren, Joey Jones, Tori Jones, Shauna Jones, Tonya B. Gulley, Buzz Ballard (Ashley) and Alexander Mullins; her great grandchildren, Jentry Jones, Jade Jones, Traven Shrout, Lakyn Gray, Chaz Ballard, Carsen Gulley, Chaisen Gulley, Jordan Ballard, Jonathon Hickerson and Shyla Ballard; and her great great grandchildren, Asher, Addlyn, Layla, Raelyn and Jackson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
