He was predeceased by: his parents, Rollie Russell Hinton and Anna Calvin Mitchell Hinton; and his brother James Bruce "J. B.". He is survived by: his siblings, Sue McIntyre of Burlington, KY, Bill Hinton of Fleming County, Larry Hinton (Alice Kay) of Fleming County and Judi Hinton of Fleming County; his nieces and nephews, Pam Parker of Mt. Juliet, TN, Bryan McIntyre of Newport, KY, Kevin McIntyre (Janet) of Crestview Hills, KY and Lisa Glascock (Todd) of Flemingsburg; his great-nephews, Justin McIntyre (Casey) of Portland, OR, Jacob McIntyre of Los Angeles, CA and Brad; his great-niece Allison Glascock of Flemingsburg; his cousin Bob Brown of Dayton, OH.; and his sister Barbara Staten (Jack Staten).
