He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Denton Elam and Anna Marie Clontz Elam; his sister Mertie Vela Elam; and his parents-in-law, Lillie Belle Allen, Kenny Allen, Sr. and Hobert Thomas Handy.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Handy Elam; his daughters, Billie Jo Kegley and Stephanie Hardin (J. J.); his grandchildren, Dalton Kegley, Cody Kegley, Hunter Cordray, Tyler Hardin, Carson Hardin, Tanner Hardin and Olivia Hardin; and his siblings, Jeffrey Elam (Sharon) of Cincinnati and Regina Baker (Scott) of Somerset. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family members, and many special friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Boone-Nickell Funeral Home (150 W Water St, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
