We are sad to announce that on April 3, 2024, at the age of 89, Bill Gifford of Flemingsburg, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his former wife Evelyn Mae Campbell Gifford; and his siblings, Jim, Gordon, Shirley, Florence, Helen, Edna, Darlene, Glenda, Judy and Donna.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Mitchell Gifford; his children, Kimberly (Dwayne Newsom), Dallas (Randi Gifford), Janet M. Wilson of Frankfort and Jarrod (Lori Mitchell); his grandchildren, Aaron Alderman (Alissa See), Dakota Gifford (Brandon Perry), Coty Meade (Hannah), Mackenzie Gifford, Cory Nason, Christopher Nason (Sheila), Lauren Bridges (Grant), Lindsey Wilson and Jarra Mitchell (Josh Howard); his great grandchildren, Aiden, Ariel, Autumn, Wyatt, Waylon, Wesley, Cory Jr., Gabby, Eli, Rhyder, Evelyn and Liam; and his brother Bobby (Anna Gifford). He is also survived by his many extended family members and friends.
He served as a Hospital Foundation member, a member of the Flemingsburg First United Methodist Church and attended the Pleasant Valley Church of God.
