He was predeceased by: his father Earl; his daughter Jacqueline "Jackie" McKee; his siblings, Rita Smoot and Sam McKee; and his nephew Darrel McKee.
He is survived by: his children, Denise Sturdivant (Tyrone) of Lexington, Terry McKee (Edna) of Flemingsburg, Aaron McKee (Patricia) of Flemingsburg, Tim McKee of Flemingsburg, Van McKee (Stephanie) of Flemingsburg and Kirk McKee (Terri Lynn) of Flemingsburg; his grandchildren, Toshia McKee (Jay Fred), Aaron Jr. McKee (Amia), Terry Jr. McKee (Michelle), Bradley McKee (Anna), Vanielle McKee, Vickie Shannon (Gary), Lindsey McKee, Bryson McKee (Brittany), Trey Sturdivant, Larkin McKee and Sarah Jackson; his stepgrandchildren, Angela Potts Moore and Michael Potts; and his sisters, Ollie Rogers of Columbus, Ohio and Clarissa McKee of Columbus, Ohio. He is also survived by his 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the New Creation (1431 Helena Rd, Flemingsburg, KY 41041). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
