With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William Henry Dye (Flatwoods, Kentucky), who passed away on December 11, 2020 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Verdie Bray Dye Tompkins and Ernest Dye; his stepfather Milford Tompkins; his sister Edna Reynolds; his brother-in-law Arvid Reynolds; and his grandsons, Robert Stanley Dye and Robert Christopher Blankenship.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie; his children, Ron Dye (Brenda) of Russell, KY, Daryl Dye (Cathy) of Flatwoods, KY and Debbie Blankenship (Rick) of Flatwoods, KY.; his grandchildren, Bill Dye (Linda) of Arkansas, Brad Blankenship (Tara) of Georgia, Stephanie Dawson (Josh) of Texas, Amber Parker (Billy) of Guam and Heather O'Neal of Ashland, KY; his stepgrandchildren, Scott McIntyre (Penny) of Ashland, KY and Erica Wilks (Charlie) of Flatwoods, KY; his great grandchildren, Erin Caycee David, Gavin Dye, Zoey Holbrook, Tyson Holbrook, Payton Blankenship, Jack Blankenship, Alexander Dye and Henry O'Neal; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Rylee Joiner, Scout Wilks, Mason McIntyre, Morgan McIntyre and Alex Joiner.
Due to COVID-19 masks are required and practice social distancing.
In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Wurtland Nazarene Church.
