He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Davis and Carrie Priatt Davis; his wife Phyllis Fields Caniff Davis; and his siblings, Gene Davis, Dicky Davis, Deward Davis, Ruby Fitzpatrick, Lucille Pelsor and Connie Alley.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jan Chinn (David), Rita Wilson (Paul), Lisa Conley (Shannon), Karen Davis and Emily Farrow (Gary); his stepchildren, Jeffrey Caniff (Susan Justice), Brian Caniff, Cindy Avila and Susie Caniff; and his siblings, Luther Davis, Harold Davis (Linda) and Lorraine Shore. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 3 step-grandchildren, 20 greatgrandchildren; along with a host of extended family and friends.
