He was predeceased by: his parents, Whitt and Lila McComas Chaffins Sr.; and his brother Jimmy Chaffins. He is survived by: his wife Shelia Chaffins; his stepchildren, Alesia Malone (Paul), Denise Waggoner (David) and Bryan Pauley (Tina); and his siblings, Gary Chaffins and Lois Riffle. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
